Butter London are by FAR the best nail varnish company in the world. It was the first company to sell non toxic nail lacquer in the US and doesn’t damage the nail. A little bit pricey (the average price for a medium sized bottle is £12), I think it’s well worth the pennies. It takes a while before the varnish goes gloopy and sticky (it’s inevitable with any varnish to be fair) which is a massive plus.
